Redefining the Food we eat

At Saviour, we believe that plant-based food should be affordable and accessible to everyone.

Our mission is to create plant-based food that is not only delicious and convenient to eat on the go, but also easy to prepare.

Our team of researchers worked hard, day and night, searching for the unique combination of umami taste and fragrance, and aromatic flavors that we could use to manufacture plant-based foods that solve this yummy puzzle.

2017

GMT2 SINGAPORE AND GMT2 MALAYSIA WERE FOUNDED

GMT2 Handyware is the plant-based food arm of Handyware Group, founded in 2017. Believing that plant-based food was the answer to food sustainability, our Handyware Group embarked on this exciting journey, and Saviour is the delicious result. Our factory with a total built-in area of 23,000 sq ft was bought to achieve our vision and mission in 2018.

2022

GROUNDBREAKING PLANT BASED JERKY LAUNCHED

Saviour is a FOOD brand that has recently achieved a major breakthrough in plant-based jerky. After years of research, the texture of their jerky has finally reached a point where it is just like real meat slices! In 2022, they decided to launch their Saviour brand in the retail space so that retail consumers get to enjoy it first.

iso 22000

ISO 22000:2018 is a standard for food safety management systems. It provides a framework for the development, implementation, and continual improvement of a food safety management system, and is applicable to organizations involved in any aspect of the food chain, from production to consumption.

The ISO 22000:2018 standard was developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and was first published in 2005. The most recent version of the standard was published in 2018 and includes updates to reflect changes in the food industry and to align with other ISO management system standards.

​

The standard outlines the requirements for a food safety management system, including the establishment of a hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) plan, communication with suppliers and customers, and continual improvement of the system. Organizations can use ISO 22000:2018 to demonstrate their commitment to food safety and to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
